Belong in Your Body Community

Like it or not, the only thing we know for sure is that things are always changing and our bodies are no exception. Even though we all live in unique and different bodies, I'm sure we have all had some kind of shopping experience where we felt frustrated with our bodies for not looking like we want them to or fitting into those jeans the way we wish they could. But here's the thing. Your body is not the problem - it never has been! The problem is in the way we have been conditioned to objectify ourselves and shame ourselves for not fitting into made-up body ideals constructed by systems that couldn't care less about actual bodies.

What I know for sure is that healing and growth happen in relationship with one another. And we can't be in relationship with one another without being in relationship with ourselves. The Belong in Your Body book club is an opportunity to return to yourself and, in turn, grow in community with each other. We'll learn all about body acceptance and self-compassion, share some stories (and probably laughs and tears), and maybe do a bit of shopping too ;)
